Job Roles and Responsibilities
A Country Manager of Bangladesh is responsible for overseeing an Agriculture business growth effort on behalf of a company. Their duties include conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and client leads, coordinating with company leadership to conduct risk assessments and maintaining beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers and other business partners.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Run the business operations in Bangladesh, including sales, marketing, administrative functions, management initiatives and product management.
2. Deliver the financial targets in Bangladesh., (e.g. Sales, EBITDA and Working Capital).
3. Analyze agrochemical market and develop Sales and Marketing strategy including Products, Channels, and Go-to-Market penetration strategies of Arysta’s product portfolio.
4. Generate revenue by introducing new products with existing customers.
5. Improve business contribution and timely collections.
6. To set up targets, to compile the yearly budget and be responsible for financial results, while ensuring optimal costs.
7. Make Yearly and Quarterly Business Plan, monthly reforecasts.
8. Ensure compliance of Bangladesh, to handle and care for legal issues if any issue occurs in adherence with Company’s Code Business Conduct.
9. Increased portfolio offerings by commercializing new products.
10.Improved visibility of products by engaging in marketing promotional activities at grower level.
11. Establish and deepen relationships with distributors, key customers, suppliers, and other key stake holders.
12. Technology sharing to distribution channel and growers through workshops.
13.Liaise with local authority to train distribution channel and growers to use quality products.
14.Lead team both sales and marketing of Bangladesh in the implementation of the business development plan.
15. To manage, hire, develop, coach, and motivate employees and drive their performance to get the financial results.
Skills and Key Requirements
BSc of Agriculture / Business Management or similar background.
15 - 20 years of experience in Agrochemical Sales.
Solid experience in the senior management roles of MNC and/or Local Companies.
Should have a successful track record in managing complete P&L responsibilities.
Fluent to speak and write in English.
Strong communicator, highly energetic with ability to energize teams and drive them to achieve the set objectives.
Result focused- Ability and drive for achieving and surpassing targets against an internal or external standards of excellence.
Ability to foresee future challenges as well as business opportunities and taking the precautionary/ progressive steps towards it.
