Job Roles and Responsibilities

WorldRef is seeking a passionate and driven Sales Engineer to join our International Business Development team. You'll play a key role in expanding our reach within the Hydro Power sector, generating new business opportunities, and fostering strong client relationships.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop new business opportunities (B2B) within the HydroPower industry: Utilize a multi-channel approach including cold calling, email campaigns, attending industry events, and leveraging social media to identify and connect with potential clients.

  2. Lead generation and prospect qualification: Conduct in-depth research to identify promising leads, assess their needs and challenges, and determine their suitability for WorldRef's solutions.

  3. Strategic Sales Initiatives: Partner with the team to develop and execute effective sales strategies, analyze market trends, and create customer support and retention plans.

  4. Solution-oriented approach: Gain a deep understanding of client requirements and provide customized Hydro Power solutions that address their specific challenges.

  5. Relationship building: Cultivate strong relationships with new clients while maintaining positive connections with existing international accounts.

  6. Project Management: Effectively manage and contribute to the success of multiple international projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and meeting deadlines.

Skills and Key Requirements

  • Proven track record: Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience in the Industrial sector, preferably within the Hydro Power industry.

  • Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of Hydro Power plant equipment, technologies, and the Nepalese market landscape.

  • Proven B2D experience: Demonstrated success in directly engaging with industrial plants and facilities to secure business opportunities.

  • Strategic mindset: Ability to assist in developing and executing sales plans, contribute to deal closures, and achieve sales quotas.

  • Personal qualities: Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills in English, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Skills: Articulate, organized, detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and adept at multitasking.

  • Ability to perform under pressure: Demonstrated resilience and focus on achieving sales targets.
